Two adjacent properties on Highlever Road have been comprehensively refurbished and extended to create a pair of family homes.
The works included the complete restoration of the existing houses with loft and rear extensions alongside the opening of the ground floor to the landscaped gardens beyond. Internal partitions were simplified to introduce openness and flexibility, and new layouts draw daylight deeper into the plan while establishing clear sightlines to the rear.

At the front of each house the Victorian fabric is retained. Cornices, picture rails and cast iron fireplaces remain, and interventions within these rooms were deliberately minimal.
The result is a pair of homes that reads as contemporary and open to the rear while keeping its period character at the street.
