Company founder Adam is an accomplished architect specialising in high-end residential projects. Over the last two decades, he has designed bespoke homes in central London and the home counties. He takes a lead role in the concept design of projects, working closely with clients to develop their brief. Adam is an expert in strategising and obtaining high-value planning consents across a range of complex and challenging sites.

The pursuit of excellence is the driving force behind Adam’s career. A true designer, he possesses an ingenious ability to find opportunities in complex and compromised situations. Adam possesses a talent for spatial design and 3D modelling representations, along with a keen attention to detail and an ability to translate careful listening into inspired visions. As a leader, Adam is empathetic, imaginative, and studious.

At the weekend, Adam enjoys sports and spending time with his two young daughters in the parks of Chiswick.

Across two decades of practice, company founder Robert has established himself as an accomplished designer of residential properties, with an impressive portfolio of projects spanning Asia, the Americas and Europe. Robert values and acknowledges the significance and experience of “home”. He believes that each project is bespoke at heart and that every detail must therefore be carefully considered and attuned to the client's needs.

Robert’s specialities include concept design, planning and construction, the design of bespoke furniture and building of excellent client relationships. Employing a holistic approach to his work, Robert is thoughtful, diplomatic and inventive. Bringing a calm, 'person-centred', leadership to Arya Douge.

An enthusiast of fitness and the outdoors, Robert enjoys visual art and can be found embracing 'La Dolce Vita' in both Italy and London in his free time.

Joe is an experienced designer with over 15 years in the industry and has worked on a diverse range of projects across multiple sectors. He most recently completed a new-build family home within the UNESCO World Heritage Lake District. His expertise spans interiors, landscaping, and architecture. He is adept at working across all RIBA stages.

Joe thrives on the 'place-making' aspect of design, using 3D technologies wherever possible. He enjoys collaborating with others and is deeply passionate about creating beautiful, tactile spaces that are both well constructed and dynamic. He believes that design should improve at every stage, maximising value throughoutthe process until completion.

Approaching each new brief with an open mind, Joe sees every project as an exciting challenge. He is passionate about running, climbing, racket sports, and travelling. Taking design inspiration from recent trips to Mexico, Sweden & Vietnam.

Olivia delivers on high-end residential projects spanning across several design stages. From feasibility studies, pre-planning, planning and tender packages. She works with developers in the high-end residential market to improve property investments through pragmatic design with a sensitivity to context. She also works on listed buildings and securing planning for projects in conservation areas across London.

Motivated by the role that designers have in improving the built fabric of our cities, Olivia enjoys uncovering the history of properties. Visiting buildings around the world to gain inspiration for beautiful detailing.

Olivia is well-travelled, culturally adept and meticulous. Committed to workplace integrity, delivering to agreed timelines and producing high-quality work. When not exploring new places or recreating Nyonya dishes from her childhood, Olivia enjoys long hikes and camping with her Georgian rescue dog, Lola.

A senior collaborator, Pete supports practice growth and project delivery at Arya Douge. Drawing on his broad experience leading commercial projects across various sectors, including workplace, healthcare and retrofit. Pete specialises in project management, detailed design, and on-site delivery, actively engaging the wider team and stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes.

Pete is passionate about timeless, human-centred design that balances aesthetic beauty with practicality. Taking a special interest in joinery, craftsmanship, detailed design, and tectonics.

Highly approachable, articulate and empathetic, Pete balances his dedicated focus and calm with humour to nourish client and stakeholder relationships. Fostering cooperation and excellent communication across entire project teams. Pete enjoys road cycling, bikepacking, live music and reading about behavioural economics.

She brings expertise in delivering complex projects to Arya Douge, ensuring the highest level of technical execution, meticulous attention to detail and design excellence.

Helena values responsive design that nourishes the connection between the user, their environment and context. Passionate about creating spaces that are both meaningful and functional, Helena prioritises a focus on beauty and carefully considered details.

Relied upon for her creativity, versatility and empathy. Helena possesses a track record of crafting beautiful spaces that prioritise her clients' needs whilst also enriching their experience. She enjoys novels, hiking in nature and good food, taking the time to discover new restaurants.

With an accomplished background in pitches, publications and planning applications for high-profile commercial and residential properties, Varvara brings innovative design and presentation methodology to Arya Douge. She brings her unique creativity to a wide variety of media to convey designs that brilliantly bring schemes to life, combining a passion for visual art with her expert skills in 3D modelling software.

Varvara is a talented visual communicator, able to utilise a variety of media. Her skillset ranges from hand-drawn sketches that convey concepts for planning to detailed walk-through 3D models that immerse the viewer into a space. She particularly enjoys working on projects that infuse old structures with fresh, contemporary design. An overarching passion for composition drives Varvara's work.

Varvara is at home within the artistic process, and in combination with her ambition, rigour, and curiosity, she delivers outstanding materials for clients. She enjoys oil painting, life drawing and seeking out vintage furniture. She is also a keen polo player.

An exceptional Parisian designer. Ludmille is a dedicated senior architect with a unique approach: blending classical principles with modern design. She has achieved a diverse project portfolio, from contributing to post-earthquake reconstruction in Haitito extensive experience in high-end residential projects and luxury hotel design.  

Ludmille has a strong affinity for interiors, particularly minimalism and materiality. A robust project manager, her creative problem-solving combines with a skill for adapting to her client’s vision. She possesses consummate attention to detail.

Organised, positive and able to thrive in a team, she is entrusted with ensuring Arya Douge’s complex and high-value projects are delivered on time and to an exceptional standard. Her favourite pastimes include cookery and travel, as well as pursuing her passion for furniture design.

Will is an accomplished architectural assistant with international experience in high-end residential design across the UK and USA. He has a diverse project background ranging from railway stations to floating homes. He thrives within multidisciplinary design teams, where his unique perspective bridges the gap between creative and technical disciplines.

Will is an advocate for social responsibility in architecture and strives to make a positive impact on communities. He is passionate about exploring material technology in construction, using both new and the traditional. He has a particular interest in designing buildings that allow inhabitants to engage with their surroundings in meaningful ways.

A keen collaborator. Will is inquisitive, resilient and sociable and brings his enjoyment of exploration to Arya Douge. Will loves taking long road trips and is an experienced skier. He has a deep appreciation for travel, world cuisine and cinema.

Maria is an expert in high quality, private residential projects with an accomplished record of delivering exquisitely detailed homes. She has a particular interest in adaptive reuse and sustainable design.  

For Maria, the crux of her architectural practice is working closely with people. Whether through conversations over time, collaboration, visiting showrooms, or room by room; building an intimate picture and understanding of a user's needs. She finds satisfaction when her attention to detail and creativity result in clients achieving a perfectly tailored space.  

Maria possesses curiosity with regard to new styles and approaches; her resilience and dependability allow her to persevere through obstacles. She enjoys architectural photography and swimming. She is an enthusiastic ceramicist, so much so that she needs more space in her home.

With over a decade of experience working alongside the founders of Arya Douge, Sam has played an integral role in every stage of project delivery. From initial planning and technical design to tendering packages and on-site construction. He is dedicated to ensuring seamless project completion. His meticulous attention to detail has been instrumental in delivering large, complex projects across various sectors throughout London.

Sam’s architectural approach is rooted in creative problem-solving, with a passion for addressing the intricate material challenges that arise between building constraints and client aspirations. Regular site visits allow him to apply his keen eye for detail, focusing on internal interfaces, built fabrics, and material intersections.

Relied upon for his integrity, resilience, and empathy. Sam works closely with Adam and Robert to guide projects through every design stage, from concept to completion.
