Netherhall House is a striking modern reimagining of the Hampstead family home. Built with careful subservience to a hierarchy of traditional homes in the conservation area.
The architectural concept is centred around a fresh, modern echoing of traditional features. The dark-walled hallway of old is transformed into columns of oak. A sculptural hall that provides definition and framing for the rooms on either side. Achieving an expansive and open-plan contemporary aesthetic.
The property engages cast stone to achieve a modern take on the traditional use of terracotta, gauged redbrick or stone for building features. Our design is crafted from handmade red bricks, featuring bay windows and a hipped roof with timber and slate rooftiles.
Construction utilises the highest standard of technology and sustainability. Heating and cooling is achieved via a ground-source heat pump and energy piles which extend 20m below the earth. This sustainable technology minimises operational costs and prioritises low-emission family living.
