Mint House
Mint House sees the elegant refurbishment of a three-story detached villa on Gloucester Road in South Kensington, a successful collaboration between the RedBook Agency, Arya Douge and Studio Törnqvist interior design.
The architectural designs were conceived in close partnership with Karoline Tornqvist’s beautiful aesthetics. Her delicate and considered integrations of texture and colour create inspired spaces of comfort, depth and calm throughout.

A spacious, tiled entrance and dark, wood panelled hall leads to a signature, curved stairway featuring a finely crafted, bespoke metal banister. This sensuousness of space and cool is further echoed in the luxurious bathroom with delicate gold finishing, marble framings and full-length, arched mirrors.
The renovation features a loft conversion, basement swimming pool and spa, alongside a new rear extension/pavilion in over-mortared brickwork which stands in dramatic contrast to the red brick palette of the original 1950’s house.
