This reconfiguration of two apartments in South Kensington was completed with sculptural precision, carving beautiful pathways of light into a traditional mansion-block setting, meeting the modern expectation of flowing natural light within a traditionally dark historical apartment. This was achieved with stunning oak-framed doors, glass walls and glazed features throughout.
In careful collaboration with Historic England and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, we ensured the delicate and considered restoration of the interiors. Rich natural materials provide depth and elegance, creating a space of texture and sophistication.
Contemporarydetailing in the bathrooms and kitchen creates beautiful juxtapositions with the original features.
The bespoke Calacatta Viola vanity basin beautifully combines with mirrors templated to the curve of the original Victorian ceiling. An extensive and successful reconfiguration and refurbishment of two apartments within this prestigious mansion block. Bothapartments were completed in 2024.
